1921年，“集万人之缘，结千祥之福”的万缘胜会掀开序幕。自此，约每五年举办一次的万缘胜会成为碧山亭弘扬孝道与饮水思源价值观的旗舰活动，由和尚、尼姑和道士集体诵经。收入除了用来资助坟山庙宇，维修建路外，也捐助各类社会慈善活动。
Salvation Ritual was first introduced to Peck San Theng in 1921. Since then, it has become one of the most significant events organised by Peck San Theng once in an average of every five years. The Salvation Ritual is usually performed by a group of Monks, Nuns and Taoist Priests. The social meanings behind this ritual is about preserving and promoting the family value of filial piety.
1978年10月12日，在裕廊造船厂维修的史拜罗斯号油槽船发生爆炸惨案。碧山亭特别举行万缘胜会，为不幸罹难的76名各族人士超度。
On 12 October 1978, oil tanker Spyros exploded at Jurong shipyard. Peck San Theng held a special salvation ritual for the 76 victims.
1950年代的甘榜山亭，万缘胜会几乎成为整个甘榜居民的活动。
